Question

i think my hermit crab is molting, what do i do?

it is buried at the bottom of the cage, it ate a lot, and drank a lot before it went down. how do I make sure it has a successful molt.

Best thing to do, is to leave it alone. If it was drinking and eating lots before it went under it will most likely be a successful molt. Depending on how big your hermie is, if it takes longer than 5-6 weeks max you might want to make sure it is not dead. Also if you have other crabs you might want to remove the other crabs as so they don't disturb the freshly molted meaty smelling fella!! (im serious!) Hope this helps : )
