These plastic enclosed exercise balls provide horrible air circulation in my opinion. Technically yes, you could use one of the very large exercise balls for a guinea pig but I would suggest a playpen instead of one of these balls for interaction outside of the cage.

No, you can't for two reasons:
1) Guinea pig spines DO NOT bend in the way that these balls require. If you use it on your guinea pig it can SEVERELY injure them. I have two guinea pigs, and it absolutely TERRIFIES them, because they know it's dangerous for them.
2) Too small for a guinea pig.
If you want to take the risk, go ahead and try. If you don't, your guinea pigs will be grateful. They also don't like wheels.

answer 6
Yes they do at the stores, but the cages cost around 60$ you have to get gerbils in male or female pairs ( NEVER a male and female pair.) or they could get depressed and die which a pair would cost around 30$. Carefresh bedding ( NO WOOD BEDDING UNLESS ASPEN.) would cost around 20$, food 8$. Plus you have to take around 5 hours out of your day to read about Gerbil Ownership Guides online. Make sure you or your cousins are ready for this. Or just get them something else, like a Zoo Zoo pet.

Question

Is this for small animals too?

I Have a miniature hamster and I was wondering if one of this or perhaps a smaller one would be good for him? They're half the size of a regular hamster and it looks like his paws would go through the holes in this ball.....maybe the smaller ones have smaller holes for tiny animals?

These enclosed exercise balls provide HORRIBLE air circulation. If you are looking for something that will comfortably allow your rabbit, guinea pig, rat, hamster, or other small animal, I would suggest looking at playpen options rather than these balls.

Well, I dont know if he'll fit, but I know he won't like it. Those balls have poor ventilation and even though it might look like they're having fun they're actually trying to escape. When set it such a small area most animals will panic

No I do not think so. Rabbits are big and they should not have a hamster ball, if you want it to run around you should get a dog/cat/small pet play pen. Or you can lock it up in your room. Trust me my sister has a rabbit that I have to watch a lot.

answer 2
I cannot imagine a rabbit enjoying this. The largest size ball is barely large enough for a full grown rat. Therefore, a rabbit would most certainly not fit. They might not even be able to fit through the hatch on the ball. In addition, rabbits require a fair amount of oxygen, and this ball has poor ventilation. If the rabbit did decide to somehow get the ball moving and explore, there is always the danger of the ball rolling down the stairs. I would not recommend this ball even for a mouse. A rabbit would definitely not appreciate it.
I hope this helps!

Question

Can a hamster's toes get pinched in the slits?

I don't currently have a hamster but am considering getting one. I would like a Russian Winter White (aka Djungarian) and I know they are considered to be dwarf hamsters and thus would have teeny little paws. Is there a risk that toes or even full paws could poke through the ventilation slits and get hurt? Does anyone with a dwarf-sized hamster use one of these?

Depends on what kind of Teddy Bear (Syrian) hamster you have. I got a super pet ball same as this one 7" except in color clear and it fits my adult long hair Teddy Bear hamster just fine. In fact, there was even some room for my hamster to stretch too. Purchase and try it out first if it doesnt fit your hamster then return and get a bigger size.
