It's a powder you will have to mix into your cat's wet (canned) food. Some cats even eat it mixed with water in pure form.

It's a powder that you mix into canned food. It's very easy to mix -- its not gummy like some other supplements -- and my cats like it. You do have to keep it refrigerated once it's opened, because it doesn't have preservatives.

It's an oil very strong fishy smell. My cats did not like it at all. It would probably be better if it was a capsule.

Yes, that is what I do ...... Seems that I remember it took a couple days for my cat to go for it. Any change in food makes mine finicky. But I swear by Missing Link, it saved my very sick cat....he is now happy, heathy, put on some weight and has the most beautiful soft, shiny coat. Oh, and he is much more active now so I know he feels better!

I'm pretty sure he just licked the gravy/sauce off the kibble at first which was ok because that is what you want him to do. When he got stronger he started to eat everything. Good luck.
