My dog has long hair , I use the Espree Natural conditioner too. It's help to avoid tangles, leave his hair smooth & silky.

I would recommend adding the conditioner as an extra moisturizing step for the coat and hair. This may be especially beneficial for a long hair dog to ease the hair combing process.
