Our experience indicates follow bottle directions, if possible give 30 minutes in advance however at the prescribed dosages our labs respond favorably within 15 -20 minutes. It would seem that hydration and at least something in their stomach aids in the absorption and processing of the natural ingredients.

Following dosage directions we have had success for 10-12 hours or the duration of the loud noise of firecrackers or thunder lightening strikes.

We normally give it to her an hour before we leave. Our 9 lb dog only needs a 1/4 tablet.

NaturVet Calming Aid
Usually takes at least 45 minutes to work on the 2 pets I have... One for separation anxiety & the other is very hyper
- Usually last approx. 6 to 8 hrs-
This has been best out of all I've tried. Hope this helps you.

Has anyone tried Quiet moments for their dog for Firecracker noise and has it worked. How long did you did the dog the pills before you want it to take effect. the pills are time released. Thank you

Works great for my two yellow labs whose exposure to lightening /thunder storms and firecrackers has proven traumatic for both the dogs and the owners. Use the recommended dosage or perhaps a little less for best results.
