I have used the 24 inch high pens for small breed puppies or adults as they are easier to lean over and clean up or take a puppy in or out if you don't want to bother using the door, which some brands won't have. I have an adult mini dachshund that can still use this size but also have the 30 inch pen with a door as he can jump quite high and I feel this size is more secure.

I bought the Model 100 series for my female ferret and it is fine. Ferrets are small and do not weight much only 1-4 pounds the most. The Model 100 series does have a lot of room in the kennel with them in it.

Because of the see through siding I used a pillow case to cover the carrier so that my cat didn't get stressed from seeing all the strangers in the airport and on flight.
