Yes, dripped constantly and online reviews this was supposed to be best one. I have a rabbit and found a heavy dish of water works fine and read they get more water that way so better. Depending on your animal find out if you have to use a bottle, more hassle than they are worth.

This bottle does not leak if it is filled completely, and the cap is screwed on tightly. A few drips occur in the beginning of each fill, while the vacuum seal is being created.

You can, but I've found that my boys prefer a dish. If you're worried about water tipping, the bowls that bolt to the sides work great for stopping spilling. I do put a bottle in too, just in case the water in the bowl gets emptied, but if they have a choice, mine choose the bowl over a water bottle.

NO. I've called the Petco brick and mortar store and was told the online prices and retail outlet store prices are very different.

Buy online if you can, it seems to be much cheaper.

For most part cheaper here in Alaska. I bought a cage exact same one $70 cheaper online than in store and no shipping. But then some things size makes it more expensive in store, but same smaller version is same price. I price checked so I knew what to expect. Also buying during sales is best to get better deals. There is less of a selection of some things though.

Not with the supplied wire loop set-up, as that for use with a wire cage. One idea is to use adhesive backed Velcro tape. If you can, mount the Velcro to the bottle and tank just high enough for your animal to reach up to drink comfortably, but not too low where they may reach up and chew the velcro and mounting material. When you want to remove the bottle to clean and refill, just pull away, then press back into place. Best luck to you.

There is a wire that comes with it. If you have a cage with bars, it's easy to hook the wire around the bottle and onto the cage. I sometimes find that the bottle should either be at more of an angle or straight up .... the wire from a hanger will work fine if you need a longer or shorter holder.

Yes, but not the Petco brand.

Honestly, I've found that water bottles don't seem to put enough water out fast enough for my ferrets. I put in both a bottle and a bowl (I use the bowls that bolt onto the sides of the cage) and they rarely use the bottle unless the bowl is empty.

The one I have is a 6oz (and have 3 large boy ferrets) and end up with it about half empty after 2 days. I don't like it let the water sit longer than that, so I dump it out and refill it every 2 days.
