I been feeding my mixed chihuahua puppy this since she was 6wks old and she is growing really healthy, she loves the food, and her coat has improved since she started eating it, so I believe they can.

I feed my 6lbs Pomeranian the adult kind just fine. I've never had a problem with good quality food not being 'breed' or 'size' specific, he's done well with Blue.

yes. my 5.5 lb chihuahua eats this particualr type of blue buffalo food, it is mushy so no problems with it being too big for her. the chunky canned blue buffalo food i would just chop into smaller bits w a paring knife, but lately ive been getting this mushy stuff so i dont have to cut it and she likes it about the same as the chunky food.

A small breed can eat any food type. There are specific brands that size the food in the dry variety to accommodate a smaller mouth. I would recommend both wet and dry. Try mixing them together. Good luck!

I feed my puppy Healthy Holistic Homestyle Recipes in Lamb, Turkey, Beef, and Chicken Dinner. It does not specify that its for puppies but I found that a lot of their ingredients are healthier than other brands. She eats it well and is always eager to get her food. I do mix it up for her. I give her chicken one day, and when that can is done, I give her Turkey, than beef and so on. She seems to be okay with that and always leaves her bowl clean.

I've tried them all. I recently started it when my puppy was about 6 months and she handled it quite well. I use another brand for her dry nuggets and then add Blue Buffalo sometimes--she loves it!!

sure. my 5lb chihuahua loves it. i think its simply the best dog food out there. comare the labels even with science diet which is a top dog food and you will see just how great blue buffalo is. your puppy may do best with the mushy blue buffalo style to start with.
