Question

Is it safe for the dog just in case they were to lick the spot once the ointment was applied?

I have a 2 year old golden that has dermatitis and the vets keep telling me its food allergies, but I've tried so many different foods and nothing seems to work. My dog continuously licks his paws, I just want to help him relieve the itch
