Questions & Answers for Super Pet Super Pet Ferret Litter Training Kit

Question

Can guinea pigs use this as well?

I'm planning on getting a guinea pig soon, but I want him or her to be potty trained, not making as much of a mess. I found this one and one for a hamster, but I think the hamster one would be too small. Would guinea pigs be able to be trained with this? Would it be a good size?

We've had a guinea pig and used this for her. It absorbs the urine a lot better than wood shavings and it contains the smell better too. I would put this fluff in the corner that she would consistently urinate with newspaper underneath. For cleaning, I would just pick the newpaper up and toss the whole thing.

Yes, I use this for my piggie. She loves it, it's very low dust, and it's bio-degradable so when you clean the cage you can dump it outside. I actually just got my piggie from PETCO about 3 weeks ago, and I'm very happy. Talk to an employee about all your questions (write them down on a piece of paper beforehand so you remember everything to ask) the employees are very knowledgeable. Also, buy a book on guinea pigs from the store (I bought one and I don't know what I would've done without it) to read when you get home. I also did a ton or research online on dietary needs and such; GOOD LUCK on your new pet!

I have used Carefresh for my cats litter for years and find it works better than any others I have tried. One of my adopted cats was declawed when I got her and it is so much better on her paws than many other litters. It absorbs well and has good odor control. It is light weight and since I can't lift very much it's a plus for me.

Question

Could this possibly work for a pet Rat?

I am thinking about getting a pet rat. I have looked up alot about them and red care sheets and it says you can train them to go to the bathroom in a litter pan. They are very intelligent critters and I think they could use one, But I am not positive.

Question

Is this the new style litter box or the whole heavy duty one?

The older ones were great. The newest ones are too flimsy and my rabbit chews right through it.
