I would never reccomend using this spray directly on rats or mice since it is not labeled to do so. However, I will say that one time in a moment of desperation we used it on some mice who had tropical rat mites and it worked pretty well. We bathed them a few minutes afterward. Again, for legal reasons, I cannot actually tell you this is safe, but only speak from my experience.
