No refrigeration needed, just be sure to keep the bag sealed. I use 2 a day so they don't have time to get bad at our house, but we've never had an issue.

They don't appear to need refrigeration, recommend squeezing excess air out of the bag and tightly sealing it. I opened a bag started 3 months ago, product fresh as day one.

answer 3
You can refrigerate them if you want (especially during warm summer months), however they technically don't need to be in the frig if you are using them regularly. If you only use them once in awhile, then I would recommend keeping them in the frig.

I don't refrigerate them, and they seem to be fine for a couple months. However, I don't live in a warm/humid climate.

I've never refrigerated these. They stay really soft for the entire time I have them. My dog takes 2 pills a day, so it isn't a problem. The first time I used these, they were left open for a long time--maybe months, because my daughter had quit giving the pill to her dog. Even though they were a little drier than normal, my dog still ate it up and had no side effects.

answer 7
They are in a sealed pack for starters. I usually go through a package if I have one of my animals on any medication. A pack has 30. I find that if you refrigerate them they get hard, so I take one out of the fridge an hour or more before the medication is due to warm up to room temperature. They are meant to be soft to form around the medication.

My otherwise brilliant Aussies think they are getting a treat instead of much needed medication.

Question

How many treats do you get in a 7.9 oz bag of Greenies Dog Pill Pockets?

Your website shows a 7.9 oz bag (30 treats) is $11.58. I purchased a 3.2 oz bag (30 treats) in store for $8.99. Why the big mark-up? Is the website correct? And what size pill pocket is it -- capsule, caplet, etc?
