What's the difference between this and the more expensice "advanced" version besides the price, what makes it advanced?

The ingredients are the difference. It is very important to remember that you want to break the cycle for your loved ones so you want the more guaranteed and beneficial ingredients. The higher priced versions contain those inhibitors that will completely break all cycles and return your animal to normal in no time! They deserve it :)
