Question

i need a bulb that dose uvb and uva

i have long tailed grass lizerds and they need both uvb and uva is there a buld that dose both that i can buy

Thank you for your question animalhouse1. For a long tailed grass lizard I would recommend the Tropical 25. This light provides a full dosage of UVB (25 microwatts per second/cm2) along with essential UVA light. As a bonus, Tropical 25’s full-spectrum visible light output helps bring out subtle colors in a reptile’s skin that makes everyday viewing more dramatic.

Can a 18'' fluorescent fish tank light give of enough UV rays for a tropical 10 gallon lizard habitat??

I dont want to have to buy another light so can it be used for my lizard??

Unfortunately, it would not produce enough UVB. You would want 25 microwatts per second/cm2 for a tropical lizard - an aquarium bulb would not produce this. You can, however, use the fixture from the aquarium and put a tropical reptile lamp into that fixture.
