The easiest way to use the fountain feeder as a water dispenser is to disassemble it (take the bottom part off) fill the tube with water and put the bottom piece back on and quickly flip it right side up again over the sink. Also make sure you put the bottom part on right because I believe that the openings have to be lined up. There's an open gap on the water tube that has to be lined up with the bottom part of the dispenser.
