Check the back. On the back of all care fresh beddings at the top it says the animals it can be used for. If it says ferrets it should be fine. If not, try the care fresh natural stuff instead.

Dude if you live in IL around Lansing I can sell you my Female Silver Mitt ferret :3 she's really sweet, I just got a new puppy so I am downsizing some animals I Have (has 3ferrets in all) , But this bedding is going to be a pain if you have a carpet next to their cage trust Me, I used this for my first to ferrets, they Loved it but I hated it, it has a good smell though :3

My opinion is yes, it would be great for a hedgehog. This stuff keeps the pans dry-and that is very important, not to get any yuck on the animal. So I would say yes, it would work great. I bought three bags, and it's lasting a long time for two rabbits. It is a better price than in the stores too.

Check the back. On the back of all care fresh beddings it says what animals the beddings can be used for. If it says hedgehogs, use it, if not, try some other bedding.

No, we have a hedgehog that we got from a breeder. You are only supposed to use Aspen or Pine shavings. The shavings must be pure pine or pure aspen... No mixture.

The difference is that the confetti bedding is just colored. These two beddings use the same formula I think.

No it can not! They bedding is not made of all natural materials so it can not be thrown in the garden. It has dyes in it. So if you throw it in the garden it is bad for your plants and will not decompose. If you want a bedding that can decompose get the care fresh natural stuff. It has no dyes or artificial stuff so it will decompose. I use it for my two guinea pigs and I compost it whenever I change their bedding.
