Question

Is the PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station Filters good for taking out all the contaminants found in tap water? And what water do you put in the filter

By saying the water filter should be replaced every 6 to 8 weeks does that mean you would have to buy a new one ? Is it safe to put outside yewr house as well ? I need these questions answered as soon as possible.
I am considering of getting this for my 3 year old golden retreiver.
