Underneath the bowl it claims they are dishwasher safe - I didn't test them out for that. Also says NOT to use them in the microwave.

any other material it's made in?

Do you have, or would you consider making this in stainless steel, glass, or even (not as good) ceramic? It would work well for my cat with cerebellar hypoplasia, but we have an issue with chin acne with plastic containers, so plastic doesn't work.
