Question

could a wild animal get in the and kill my tortoise when outside

i want to leave my tortise outside for an hour or two becasue he loves it outside but i want to go garden in the front yarad and he would be in the side yard or i might go inside or somthing could an animal get in like a cat etc

Yes, a cat could jump in. But I doubt it would hurt your tortoise. We have a cat and she ignores them. I've been using this pen for my 2 small Russian tortoises for a few hours each day so I don't have to stand there and watch them, and it's been working great!
