Questions & Answers for Rep-Cal Rep-Cal Maintenance Formula Tortoise Food

Question

I purchased rep cal mutivitamin and calcium for my box turtle. He weighs .492 grams which my vet said is almost a pound.

My question is-how much multivitamins and how much calcium do I mix into his food. It doesn't give much information on the package. I tried to get in touch with rep cal but I couldn't find an email. I tried the 1-800 number but no one answers. I don't want to give him too much but I also don't want to give him too little. Please help!

Did you read the label on the containers? I would just sprinkle a little of the calcium on the food. If you feed a balanced diet, the multivitamins are a bonus. Try to research the best type of veggies for your turtles. If you cannot find this information at the pet store, your vet should have one on hand.

the packaging should tell you how much to feed him. the vitamins and calcium are mixed intop the dry foor so in all reality its just up to him to take it in. give him normal daily feedings rep cal makes their food so you can feed it to them daily. hopefully that helps.
