Try grain free adult sized dog food Nature's receipe. You will no longer need sensitive stomach receipe. The grain free made a huge difference in my boxer who was tired, red eyes, not playful. WIthin 3 days, huge difference. She is 6 years old and I was giving her fish oil with Purina Pro Plan turkey. She was still having stomach issues, but limping got better because of the fish oil. SInce I have changed her over, I stopped the fish oil because of the salmon receipe and its been 3 months and no limping. She is jumping, playing, bouncing, chasing and just a new dog. Her eyes are bright now and her fawn coat is beautiful and soft! I recommend the grain free. Less vet bills, prolong life span.

They are larger in size. My two male Dobermans have to chew the pieces, so they are for larger sized dogs, not small dogs. Hope this helps.

This food is not as small as what I was feeding before, but the chunks are not huge either. I would call them medium.

An older dog would do well with this. THe meat is in gravy and very soft and the pieces are not big.

Yes, my two Dobermans are the same dark color if this is all they eat. If you feed them table scraps or other food, the color will vary in color from dark to lighter. Hope this helps.

That color is about normal for my dog. He usually eats Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach (salmon based).

I would highly recommend changing dog food as soon as you can. I had my dogs on Purina Pro Plan and was about to change to sensitive stomach until I came across and was recommended Nature's Receipe. It is totally grain free. Huge difference in 3 days in my boxer. Red eyes gone by end of first bag of food. Her energy is back and not sleeping all the time. She is 6 years old. Her coat is beautiful and she is bright and playful. She also has arthritus in her shoulder and is no longer limping using the salmon diet. Grainfree is the way to go! My other 2 dogs, another boxer and german short haired pointer are happier too. More playful, energetic and coats are beautiful! May be more expensive, but you are prolonging their life, and less trips to the vet.

Animal carcass simply means a dead animal. So any meat based food contains animal carcass. If you mean by-products, you would need to determine which ones you object to. Many parts of the animal that are not consumed by people (such as heart, kidneys, liver, intestine) are actually quite nutritious for dogs. The FDA has guidelines regarding foods that are labeled as nutritionally complete. But the best source for answers is the number above.
