Absolutely not! Quite frankly this is not even big enough for one! I would guess that if I was a guinea pig this would be about the size of my room and a closet

No. 2 guinea pigs need 7.5 square feet of space MINIMUM and bigger is better. Please research guinea pigs before buying them, as they are very special animals with certain needs and you and your guinea pigs will be much happier if you know the facts.

I would suggest getting two Guineapigs first of all, they can get easily depressed without another Guineapig. Second of all I have to say this is one of the biggest cages on the market ( although it doesn't reach the guideline of space). If you do decide to get this cage remember to bring your Guineapigs out for play and cuddle time.

Petco sells Guinea Pigs, but only adults. You might want to get a baby; they're easier to train when young. One Guinea Pig needs at least 4 sqft. of room, and Guinea Pigs like to live with one-another. Consider getting two!

Question

If I connect this with another cage, will this be big enough for two female guinea pigs?

Don't say to get a C&C cage because I looked into those, not only are they to big, but, it was to expensive! I looked everywhere they were all above $69.99!

Thank you for your interest in the Ware Chew Proof Guinea Pig Cage. We don’t recommend that you “connect” two cages together, just for the safety concerns with your pets traveling thru the “connection area” This cage is ideal for one guinea pig, provided he or she also has play-time outside of the cage on a regular basis. For two guinea pigs, we would probably suggest that they each have their own cage, or you maybe be interested in the Ware 40” Animal House, which would provide your pets with more living space needed for two adult guinea pigs. I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Hello. Thank you for your inquiry and interest in a Ware product for your pet. This cage is not suitable for a hamster. The spacing between the bars is 1". For smaller pets such as gerbils, rats, hamster and mic, you will need a cage with only .5" spacing between the bars. We suggest The Chew Proof Critter Cage 25", item #00661, or the Chew Proof 4 Story Hamster Cage, item #00663. I hope this information is helpful.
