This is a perfect nest box for rabbits. Just full it with clean soft hay and put it in the doe's hutch on day 28 of her pregnancy. She should do the rest!

I don't know much about rabbits but it is a good size for them to get in and just "be" , take a nap.

My neighbor had rabbits and I can see rabbits feeling safe and hidden in these boxes. I put straw in them to help keep my chickens warm and they love it! I have New Jersey Giants and Long Island Reds. Two of the Giants climb into one box and that's about the size of a large rabbit. These boxes are just right for lifting and for moving. They are good quality too.

This product would be safe for a guinea pig, not as a cage but as an addition to the cage. However, while it would technically be safe to use, it is not ideal for a guinea pig. The sides of the box, even the lowest side, are really too high for most guinea pigs to navigate. I don't think a female would prefer this type of box for nesting for exactly that reason. There are products designed specifically for guinea pigs that would probably be a better choice.

Hello. Thank you for your inquiry. Although this nesting box is designed for chickens and rabbits, it is natural wood and safe to chew for your pet(s). Yes, it would be safe for a guinea pig.
