answer 3
No, but it is super easy to put together. It comes with the bootom box, 2 platforms and 2 pillars, all the hardware is already built into those pieces. You simply twist the pieces together and it is assembled in no more than 3 minutes and no tools are required!

answer 4
No, you have to assemble it yourself. This is very easy, and it comes with the screws and the allen-wrench tool needed. However, even with the top perch screwed in as tight as it will go to the tree "post", it is still very wobbly.

The tree does not come fully assembled, but tools are provided and it is extremely easy to put together. It took me less than five minutes to open the box, set it up, and let my kitten start playing with it.

Plush cream carpet. One of the only upsides to this product.

answer 2
See my review. The tree is pretty cheaply made out of low grade mdf and sisal rope. The "pad" in the "hideout" box at the bottom is just the fabric/carpet tacked on to a piece of cardboard. The "carpet" material is more like fabric with a shag - doesn't seem really heavy duty at all, certainly the backing is not carpet-grade. The top "perch" of mine also does not attach securely to the sisal rope tree post, making it very wobbly.

It's carpet-ish...but quite plush. Very soft, and seems to be quite durable. My kittens have been clawing it for 2 weeks now and it shows no wear at all.

solid cat condo of compressed 3/8" or so wood, nice sisal covered scratching posts - it is NOT covered with carpet, it is covered with thin faux fur used for making stuffed animals, with no padding for comfort.

answer 6
It has faux fur plush, wood, and plastic. So far it has been holding up well with my cat, but she is front paw declawed and is only 6lbs. I wouldn't recommend this product for a cat over that because it could possibly be too small.

Question

Has anyone used this for a pet rabbit?

I'm wondering if my bunny would like to use something like this as a "hideout" in the living room. Most of the things I see made for rabbits are really too small.

answer 1
I've had bunnies in the past. In my opinion, from getting this tree for my cats, it is far too cheaply made to be safe for a bun. The bunnie would likely chew it up in no time. The "hideout" part at the bottom is about 12x12x12, and my big cat (15 pounds) won't fit comfortably in there.
