answer 2
It is best to feed puppy food to a dog until they are around 6 months to a year old, ask your vet when it's best to switch to an adult food. It's important to use the puppy food b/c it contains ingredients and nutrients similar to what a puppy would get from his mother's milk. It has nutrients crucial to the growth and development of your pup. I used the pro-plan puppy food with my dogs when they were pups and they really liked it, the small pieces were easy for them to eat and they enjoyed the taste.
