It takes 3 of those coin/round batteries (they are bigger than those you'd fine in hearing aids or funky battery-operated pens). I'd provide the actual number off the battery, but I'm at work right now and don't have it with me. If I can gain access to your question once I'm home, I'l get it to you. It might be like a SR44/AG13. Again, 3 of them...

Not sure how long they last yet, either. I always turn the collar off as soon as I remove it.

It is possible, but I recommend training them separately with it. Otherwise, they may be punished for the other dog's bark and not get it. They will learn to keep their distance from the other dog if they are smart. However, I found that this collar was not effective at all with my little dog, who is a frenzied barker. Worked pretty well on my poodle.

yes you can!. Save your money....you'll end up with nervous yappy dogs! It goes off all the time and when my dogs would play with each other, they would cause them to sound or vibrate without cause!!!! End result, my dogs now shakes when they see the collars. I have 2 Shitzu's as well.

I tried to purchase it at the local store, but the manager said they were limited as to how many different units they could stock. Check, but I had to order it on line.

Question

How large of a dog can you use this on?

I have a large boxer/rottweiler mix that weighs about 135 pounds that barks at EVERYTHING! With a toddler that still takes naps and another baby due in April, this is a definite problem as well as very annoying. He won't listen or respond to anything we've tried and I was wondering if anyone else with this collar has a large dog. The biggest size says 25+ pounds, but that is far off from most things categorized for "large" dogs.
