depends on the size of the pieces and whether or not they can pass through her gastrointestinal tract without causing an obstruction. encourage more retrieving and less chewing.

In my opinion, your dog ingesting pieces of this toy should not hurt it. It should pass it. My sister's dog eats ear plugs, anything and everything she can find and that's just a little 8 lb dog...she's still kicking. I found the JW bone and ball to be THE ONLY toys my 22lb wiener dog CANNOT chew up.

i don't know if this will work for u, but if ur dog likes balls at all u should try the kong ball. it is a solid ball made or i think hard rubber, but i got one for my dog like a month ago, because he would destroy anything and everything, but he hasn't been able to even put a dent in this ball it is just soft enough not to hurt there teeth but still very hard for durability.

It will probably just pass in number 2. I find all kinds of little pieces of things in my puppy's excrement. Sounds gross, but keep your eyes on it. The Reindeer antler has been great for my pup- he does get frustrated that he doesn't get any "meat" off it so I put a bit of peanut butter on it so he can get some satisfaction and encourage the positive chewing.
