Question

does it fit a 50 gal tank?

i bought the penn plax turtle topper before, and sadly, didn't fit my 50 gallon tank, the tank its wider so i had to return it. I'm wondering if one of this would help, either the small. since its a corner or the large one.
my turtle's a red ear, and has reached his biggest size i think.

Yes, this would fit a 50 gallon tank. Our 2 turtles love it. We have a 40 gallon breeder tank and the pier is great. We love the size. You don't say what size your turtle is but I'm sure it would LOVE the pier!

Question

How well would this work for my turtle and is it available in-store?

I am soon to be getting a 40 gallon tank (36"L, 18"W, 17"H). I have a Southern/Western Painted turtle (Yertle) who is currently 7 inches long. He shouldn't grow much more, at most 2 inches. Would the large size work well? Also, is this product available in-store?

It may be a tight fit but it would work! And it would depend on your store if they have it in stock!

it works better with lizards or if attached to the side of a wall where the suction cup stays dry, and the turtles won't try to eat it or pull it into the water
