Small size would do good for them if they are small. I have two white fancy mice they love it. One will sleep in it while the other sleeps ontop of it.

I have one for my two larger ratties. They fit just fine in it and love to hide in there while they munch on their favorite foods/treats.

The downside.... it is downright impossible to get the urine smell out of it. Get something you can actually clean.

answer 2
Yes, this is good for a rat, but you will need to buy a large one, otherwise they will have trouble fitting and might fight.

answer 3
If it is natural wood, not treated, then it is OK. Rats must chew to grind down their bottom two teeth. If not allowed to chew the teeth will grow into the roof of their mouth. They will be unable to eat and die of infection.

Think of getting them chew sticks (apple wood). Never use lumber or wood treated with any kind of preservative. It is poisonous to us and them. Only use natural woods.

The only type of pine that is safe for hamsters is kiln-dried pine, and I want to make sure that this is definitely kiln-dried pine. You shouldn't be selling this product otherwise. Please answer this quickly!
