My dog is a 40 lb rescue - whippet/bulldog mix and she may get one a day or at the most two, but not at the same time, as she knows these are really special.

There is a chart on the back of the bag that tells you how many to feed per day in relationship to what your dog weighs, its age and physical condition (pregnant and lactating).

If you had the money to spend on this product as the dog's daily food intake, the answer is right on the bag as 35 discs (the freeze dried discs are about 2" X 2", and can be rehydrated if you choose to do so) per day, so if you fed your dog twice per day, you would give him 18. In that case, I would rehydrate these discs, and then it is RAW meat and bone products, with fruits & vegetables.

I give these to my 65 lb German Wirehair Pointer as treats, and she is very picky about treats/food, and she LOVES these. It states on the package that your dog requires plenty of water if used as a complete meal.

It is a treat, so I wouldn't give your dog very much and only as a special occasion, especially if she is overweight.

I am assuming that the answer is YES, as they have an American flag on the package, and their offices in Los Angeles. The company has been in business since 1964.
