i don't believe it will fit at the back, but should be ok at the side. i have a 92 insight which is lower then your vehicle; mine is too high at the back, but ok at the side.

Yes - just remember to make sure that the top is securely in place - ie: under the storage area with a liner or, you could easily hold it in place with you hand as you lead your pet up with your other hand.

Hopefully your matress is heavy enough to remain in place as your dog takes that last step onto the bed - If not, you could sit on the bed as your pet walks up the steps and onto the bed, which would provide more stability.

my mattress is heavy enough nothing moves around when the dogs go up the stairs. There is however a little gap in between the stairs and the mattress, so I tuck a soft pillow in there so they don't fall in the gap.

I think I would place the top of the booster steps under the matress and on top of the box spring for added stability.
