Questions & Answers for Nature's Variety Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Daily Boost Powder Supplement

Question

How can I get my cat to fatten up?

My 14 yr old cat has kidney problems. I'm giving him Science Diet prescription cat food from my vet,but he's barely eating it. What suppliment or anything can I give him to fatten him up.I made the mistake of giving him lunch meat for treats and he will try to wait me out to get it, not eating all day to wait. Should I give it to him? I withheld it to get him to eat his prescription food. He's losing weight.

This is a powdered raw beef supplement that my cat finds to be very tasty. Mixing it with his regular food, even ones he doesn't care for, makes him eat it all with gusto.

Check with your Veterinarian to make sure it's ingredients are OK for your cat's Kidney problem.
