Yes, you can, but like the last person commented the bottom would hurt their feet. But there is a solution for that. Buy some coroplast and fit it to the cage by scoring the sides, and folding the coroplast to fit the height that you want for the sides. Your bedding will stay in and there feet won't be effected. Hope this helps.

No, with the bottom grid it will hurt your guinea pig because there legs will fall through causing injury. It would be ok however if you put coroplas in the bottom which you can buy at sign company's and its inexpensive.
