Does merrick grain free duck formula contain brewer's yeast?
My Bichon has become "yeasty" recently, particularly his paws, and research has been to first of all, get him off carbs that produce sugars in his system which feeds the yeast - and most certainly not to provide additional yeast in his food. Looking for a dry (holistic) food that meets this criteria. If not Merrick, suggestions?

I have had no problems with my dog wanting to gnaw his paws incessantly when feeding him Merrick Grain-Free Duck or Pork dry food. I made the mistake of switching to another grain-free product a month ago because of a good sale, and he has been chewing and licking his paws non-stop for about two weeks. I'm immediately putting him back on Merrick. If there is any yeast in it, it isn't bothering him.

Merrick is an all natural pet food that is AAFCO approved. The Grain Free Duck recipe is free of brewer's yeast, so this or any of the Grain Free recipes would meet this criteria.
