These bowls hold about 3 cups and my over-enthusiastic dog can't turn them over and doesn't try to move them!

I have a 65lb Pit Mix and he can't scoot his dish any more. I have the 9" bowls. They weigh 3.14 lbs and will hold about 6 cups of food. I can't say as to the bowl tipping as I've not had that issue with my dog.

Their label doesn't address this, but I assume they are.
I'd like to think that PetCo wouldn't sell dishes with lead paint for our animals.

Question

Does this bowl contain lead or any other harmful materials?

I have read that some ceramic dog bowls can have lead in the glaze or paint that they use to coat the bowls! I was going to buy this bowl at my local petco but the description on the bowl did not say whether it was lead free. I opted for a different ceramic bowl that specifically said "Lead Free", but I would have preferred this bowl.

I have no idea and wondered the same thing. They do have a label that says not for human use!

Had I known this, I wouldn't have bought them.
