These use mini halogen bulbs available in day white night red or day blue I believe those were my options. 25W = 50 to 70 W incandescent bulb and 50W = 100 to 150 Watt incandescent bulb... Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question daddysgirl5. This is a great light for a bearded dragon. As for the environment size keep in mind that this is concentrated heat providing comparable basking temperatures 2-3 times higher than an incandescent of the same wattage. Therefore a 50 watt mini-halogen bulb will be comparable to a 100-150 watt incandescent spot heat lamp. As long as the terrarium is shallow enough to provide for your bearded dragon to get close enough to the bulb to hit the desired basking temperature (or provides a basking ledge to accomplish this) than this fixture could be used in any size terrarium.

Thank you for your question Shayna. The Zilla Gooseneck Clamp Lamp is designed for a terrarium that does not have a screen cover (like many turtle tanks) and would likely interfere with a standard screen lid. A more appropriate recommendation for your needs would be the Zilla Mini Halogen fixture. This fixture will click right to the screen cover and will not fall off even when lifting the screen completely off and onto its side. It is also significantly smaller so provides improved aesthetics over the clamp lamp options.

Thank you for your question Hamsterxoxxx. This would work for your terrarium/cage. The smaller one is rated for up to 60 watt bulbs and should be adequate for your needs (although if you live in a cooler climate and find that you need a higher watt bulb you may need the larger one to provide enough heat in your open-air habitat. With this being a mesh habitat you may prefer to use a fixture that does not need to clip onto the edge of an aquarium and instead clips onto the mesh screen cover for added safety. For your specific habitat, I would recommend the Zilla Mini-Halogen fixture.
