Question

What is the height of the entry?

I would appreciate this info because I have a petite elder cat. Her joints bother her; jumping into a litter box is out of the question. I recently brought home a replacement hooded style and realized the entry was at her "shoulder" level..! She needs to be able to easily step into a litter box. Thanks

5" if your cat steps on the rim to get in, 6" if she tries to go straight over it.
You might want to consider getting a ramp - anything works if it's sturdy enough and you wrap it with non-absorbent material.

One of our cats is handicapped (missing a rear leg). I would reccomend a "Booda" covered dome-style litter box. It has a little ramp for kitty to walk up to entry level. Great for elderly and handicapped cats.

Question

Kitty Litter to fit Merry Cat Washroom

Hi,
I already purchased the Merry Cat Washroom (SKU: 1108255), but cant seem to find a litter box with a high back to fit inside. Right now I just have a regular litter box, but there is litter everywhere. Been to several pet stores in the area I live in, but they are all to big! Was looking at SKU: 2137991, but seems the dimensions are just a little to big to fit in the Cat Washroom. Do you have any other kitty litter with high backs that would fit in the Cat Washroom that I could look at?
Thank you for your attention in this matter

Wow! Finally someone else with this problem!!! For a while I taped puppy potty pads on the inside walls, really nasty changing those every day! Recently I taped a plastic placemat to the inside wall with the bottom of the placemat in the litter box. Then when Kitty goes potty it goes back in the box. I just wipe the mat daily with a Clorox wipe.
