My lab has a hot spot on his back leg and wont stop licking it, I am giving him alergie medicine.

What can I use to make it better?

tea tree oil or buy sulfodene 3 way ointment.. and keep giving your lab benadryl

I would recommend baby oil to put on the hotspot. Just keep a close eye on it. It could be an allergie to his food or grass or you might be bathing him too much. Hope it doesn't spread to his lower back or tail.

All products are safe for animals. If their was a product out there that would cause a dog to die from licking the medicine then they would never put it out.

call ya vet and ask if you can use sulfodene 3 way ointment on that wound if its not deep then you should be able too.

My dog has very dry skin hot spots and i have tried sprays from vet and it mite lower irritation but i used aloe vera & it worked 100% but is so gooey

is there any thing out there that is like this but isnt so gooey and its like a gel

increase your dogs protein with chicken,lamb, duck dog treats make sure its all natural.you can also try perfect coat 8in1 shampoo it has alot of benefactors in it..and for hotspots try tea tree oil..should eliminate your gooey issue..

Can I use sulfodene 3-way ointment on my cat?

My cat's ears get pink and irritated (he is white). The vet had told me that any antibacterial cream would be fine. I was wondering if this product would work any better, but see it says for dogs? Is there any reason it would not work as well on cats? Thanks.
