will the scarcrow keep my dog in the yard

hes small enough to get through the fence were the gates are and also under it and likes to run across the street i scares the living daylights out of me

you could do it with one on each corner by adjusting the edge of the water zone 45* or so ahead of the motion sensor. It would be triky and if your dog likes water........

What is the range of the motion sensor? How large is the angle that it covers?

The range is at least 30 feet (it got the mailman) and it can go most of the way around probably 270 degrees.

Question

I have bird feeders and the morning doves eat the seeds that fall on the ground - will this device go off and scare the morning doves.

I would like to keep the cats, dogs, groundhogs and squirrels out of the yard. However, I do have bird feeders and I don't want to scare the birds away - especially the morning doves, cardinals and robins that eat the seeds that fall from the bird feeders.
