Questions & Answers for Hill's Science Diet Hill's Science Diet Adult Hairball Control Canned Cat Food

Question

If I order canned cat food again, will it come all dented up like last time?

Ordered a case of Science Diet canned cat food a couple months ago. 75% of all the cans were seriously dented! It looked as though it was packaged in the case that way, as there was no pattern to suggest that the case had been somehow dropped or hit.

I think it is because they throw the cans in the box, and they get tossed around in shipping, but hey it is free shipping and dents do not affect the quality of the food.

That is a great question! Hill's Science Diet Adult Hairball Control Canned Cat Food is recommended for cats 1 – 6 years of age that are prone to hairballs.
Science Diet® does offer a Mature Adult Hairball Control Cat Food that is recommended cats age 7 or older that are prone to hairballs. Unfortunately, the Mature Adult Hairball Control food is only available in a dry kibble at this time. We would recommend that you speak with your veterinarian to see if the Adult Hairball Canned food is okay to feed your 19 year old cat.
