yes you can remove and add panels all you want. i bought 6 sets of these fences and have configured it in many ways. To remove just take a flat head screw driver to rip the tabs that hold the panels together. it may be a pain at first but it gets easier each time you do it. i can remove all 3 clips in under a minute.

Yes you can add or remove panels. To remove the you just need a pair of pliars and if you want to add panels some heavy duty snap clips from the hardware store or zip ties.

I don't believe you can remove the panels however they fold so you can always double up a panel to make the enclosure smaller or fully expand the panels to make it larger. I have one panel on each end folded back so my "coral" doesn't occupy too much space in my living room.

Question

What is the approx. length if I set it up lengthwise?

I am in a condo with a long hallway area, or can set up in my living room while we are not home. Is this product sturdy enough for indoors? Or should I just get a regular pet gate? My 11 month old yorkie (about 7lbs) does not like to be crated. My neighbors say she barks all day long.

great for indoors. better than a regular pet gate and a lot better than a crate. your yorkie will be happy. it's about 16 feet long since it's 8 sections at 2 feet each.

each one you buy is 8' long. i bought so many, they are addicting once you see how useful they are indoors and outdoors. and how many different ways you can configure them. buy a few and take advantage of free shipping. if you feel you have too many you can always return to your local store. i keep my dogs crate " house " inside of a pen but i used more than one. they are very useful to fence of a section of your house or use as a pen. i have a 6lb and a 9 lb at home. they are awesome. attached is a pic of my dog's set up. i used about 1.5 of these fences. ( you can use a flat head screw driver ) to separate panels if you want. now keep in mind you dont want more than 3 panels lined up length wise in a row without turning a panel at a 45 degree angle to make a corner. this is what keeps the panels long ways from falling over, outside in the grass you can get away with 4 panels long before needing to make a corner with them to keep them upright. i hope that makes sense.

The length of the exercise pen is approximately 16 ft long. We do not recommend the exercise pens to be used for puppies for an extended period of time without supervision. Midwest also manufactures pet gates for different needs as well.

it will stabilize itself with 3 to 4 panels in a row/strip . when you bend to make a corner, just having that right angle there will keep things stable. i use it indoors and out and i just make angles with it in the grass and can fence in the whole yard without needing anchors.

you can connect to any fence or crate with the little clips it comes with. just make sure your dog wont try to jump on top of the crate to get out. my dogs are so little (6 and 9 lbs) they have never even considered it but not sure how a bigger dog would do. i keep my crate inside of the pen with the door open

I guess you could but it really would depend on how you plan to "lock in" the end of the gate. Would you secure them to the wall somehow? Unless you have a way to secure to the wall I'm afraid your pet might knock this down and perhaps even get a limb tangled in the gate.
