If i were you i would get the 24 quart and fill up the cage about an inch or two. in the long run it will save you a lot of money to get 24 quarts instead of 8 quarts

It all depends on the size of habitat you've got. My King snake loves to burrow, so i provide a little less than half of the 8 quart bag, for a 20 long aquarium. As you spot clean the cage, you'll lose some Aspen, so the extra makes sure he's always got lots. As I recall, corn snakes burrow as well. Right?

answer 3
It depends on your habitat size. It is recommended to put the Aspen Snake Bedding 2-3 inches thick in your habitat. I have a baby corn snake in a 20 gallon aquarium and I put it 2 inches thick for him to burro and I get three cage cleanings out of a 24 quart bag. Sure hope this helps.

as it states, just fill up the bottom of the tank... ive had my ball python for about 3 years now, since she was a hatchling... ive always just put about an inch or 2 on the bottom, when i was using this type of substrate it worked perfectly, but now that i have a very large tank i just use carpet... but this stuff it perfect, and dont get the BIG chuncks of this stuff... for like rabbits and guinea pigs... cus the big chunks hurt the snakes underside.. when i did once, she never left her log
