Wow! Stainless steel shouldn't rust! I have two in my bird's cage, one of which holds her water all the time, and I have never seen any rust areas. I would return it.

I'm not familiar with that brand, but these should fit any wire cage. For example, my birds and sugar gliders have cages with about 1/2'' bar spacing and my rabbits have a huge "NIC" style condo made from grid panels (originally meant to be a shelving unit) with spacing of around 1.25'' - these bowls fit both with ease.

Where are bird SS bowls made?

Where are the stainless bird pet bowls manufactured? Those made in India are garbage as they distort and crack when attached with the included holder. Those from Korea are fine..

would this type of a bowl work for a guinea pig.

I am looking for a bowl that would attach to a wire cage that would prevent my guinea pig from tipping his bowl over into his bedding. would they be able to reach this bowl even if it is on the lowest bar possible?
