There shouldn't be a problem giving this to your beagle. Recommended glucosamine dosages are
• Dogs 5-20 pounds: 250-500 mg
• Dogs 20-45 pounds: 500 mg
• Dogs 45-90 pounds: 1,000 mg
• Dogs more than 90 pounds: 1,500 mg

The biscuits are very large, though and your beagle might have trouble with the size. NutriVet makes a small dog biscuit as well that might be a better size for you.

I give my 30 pound 10 1/2 year old beagle 1 a day. It has made a world of difference! He started moving around like a puppy within a week of starting the biscuits. You may want to start off with half a biscuit, if you are concerned about weight gain.
