Possible turtle tank?
I have a baby painted turtle, and he is currently housed in a 20L tank. However, when he gets bigger, he will need a bit more room. Shape of the tank is as important, if not more so, than just absolute liters/gallons size, and I am struggling to find something big enough length and width-wise that isn't too tall (most stands make aquariums too tall for easy access) or looks silly placed directly on the floor,
Ideally, the tank will allow him to swim freely with_out_ being so tall/deep that the bottom is hard to reach to clean daily. Also, because he breathes air and will need a canister filter (can the internal filter you mention be removed?), I realize that using the glass top will probably not be possible. As long as this tank will allow this, this might be my long-sought answer!
Can someone please provide the measurements (do not include glass top):
1.) height from tank lip to tank bottom (tank height not including pedestal)
2.) height from tank lip to floor (full height of tank plus pedestal)
3.) length of aquarium from one end of tank to the other (longest points)
4.) Plus any other insight you might have on measurements/possible conversion-to-turtle tank issues you can think of.
