We love Labs. The only chews we have had any luck with are the Nylabone Galileo Bone, the larger size, Souper, which is 8 1/4", not the little smaller Wolf. We have tried similar Nylabones and other brands, but the Labs destroy them within an hour. While they will gnaw down the Galileo Bone, it usually takes a year or so. All the Labs we have owned have loved these bones, and so have we. They are challenging to find, usually you need to look online to find this particular brand and type. Good Luck!

Have you tried the biggest Galileo bones? I have aggressive chewers (lab mixes) and the big Galileo bones are well loved and long lasting at my house. Our previous lab was able to damage the black Kong, and I think our current power-chewer could, but without food in them, he doesn't have any interest in them. I think our current set of Galileo bones are 2.5 years old and they are chewed on regularly They're smaller now but still have plenty left. The first set I bought lasted 4-5 years (they're lots lots smaller, only about 2" long now, but still in the toy box as a backup).

The regular style bones (non-Galileo) didn't last long at all.

I know you said all types but wondering even the "Galileo" bone? Our lab went through the same phase and this was the only thing he couldn't destroy. I know you said she also has destroyed Kongs - have you tried getting the largest size (black ones)? Those seem to be more durable. What we used to do is have a couple of durable toys - granted they may not have been indestructible but they were ones he couldn't destroy in less than 10 minutes - we'd supervise as he chewed them. Once it looked like he was getting too aggressive with it, we'd switch it out with another durable. This phase lasted a couple of years with our lab and then he seemed to relax a bit with the heavy chewing - so there's light at the end of the tunnel for you, good luck!

Does your lab eat table food? If so, that may be the problem. Does he like the rawhides. I have seen some huge tough rawhides that might interest him instead.

We had the same problem & have found (through trial & error) that nylabones satisfy our dog's need to chew, and do not shred. We also like the Red Barn brand white bones.

I'm pretty sure the Galileo Nylabones are without flavor. You should contact Nylabone for confirmation though.
