I had this problem when i moved into a new house... i cleaned the area throughly and then put the food dish on the different spots... Cats don't want to eat where they, well, elminate.

I've been dealing with a similar issue with my male cat since we moved, but he chooses certain corners of the carpet. One of the things we tried for awhile was aluminum foil. The sound scares them when they step on it. Unfortunately he just started moving further out from where we had it placed in the corners, but if your cat is afraid to even get up on teh bed, it may deter her from it completely. Good luck!

Suggest you google your question. There are many cat information articles and blogs online. You will find that the cat is probably displacing a disturbance/anger/jealoousy/whatever, about the litter box or other issue. Be sure the litter box is kept clean, cats really hate unclean litter boxes. Do you have a new pet or baby in the house, etc etc. I like The Way of Cats blog and articles. You'll find your answers, and enjoy learning more about kitty behavior.
