My vet recommended this at 6 months so I think its safe. My pup wasn't destructive but he was super hyper. My coworkers dog didn't have any adverse reactions which is also another reason I tried it. I didn't have to use it daily after giving it to my pup 3 days. My Vet told me it would be helpful in my situation but each dog is different.
