the issue with laminate floors or carpeting is that they absorb the pet urine and unless you have a way to completely soak the materials with hot water and white vinegar (then also extract it since the vinegar smells almost as bad as pet urine) the smell of urine is still detectable to animals and so they will not stop urinating in that place until they are trained not to by the usual negative reinforcement techniques, like a good swat on the bum. no product will work completely on a material that absorbs liquids, especially if the urine has had a chance to dry before you clean.
