you should use 1lb to 1.5lbs per gallon so about 37 pounds or 40 would probably be best.

You need approximately 1 to 11/2 pounds per gallon of water depending on how you want things to look the deeper the bed the better off you are with ammonia and nitrates.

Most people say a pound per gallon but I don't like my sand bed to be that thick.it gets packed down and makes it harder for things to sift thru it.it is really a personal preference to the look that you like.

What is the grain size (range) of this reef sand?
Nature's Ocean has two products that are the same except for grain size. One is 0.5-1.7 and the other is 0.1-0.5.
